Leonard began his career taking black and white photographs of people, street scenes, and music venues in Montreal.

During the past 15 years, his focus has been on portraits, landscapes, and sports photography, covering Nordic skiing, Ultimate (Frisbee), soccer, cycling and running. Leonard is based in Minnesota.
